Real Madrid have confirmed that they have re-signed full-back Dani Carvajal from Bayer Leverkusen today.
The 21-year-old was moved out to the Bundesliga outfit just last summer in a €5m transfer, but with Madrid inserting a number of buyback clauses for each subsequent year.
On from the Under-21 international having impressed in 36 appearances for Leverkusen, Los Blancos have acted to repurchase Carvajal at the previously agreed fee of €6.5m.
“Real Madrid have paid the repurchase option on Dani Carvajal, so the player from Bayer Leverkusen joins our club for the next six seasons.”
