Former Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho has reflected that upon returning to Chelsea, he has had two ‘great passions’ in his career, the Blues and Inter.
In ending a three-year reign at the Santiago Bernabeu this weekend, the Portuguese has today been confirmed as having signed a four-year contract to return to Stamford Bridge.
In his first message to Chelsea supporters, the Coach reflected on his connection to the London side, and to one of his previous teams.
“I promise exactly the same things I promised in 2004, with this difference to help – which is I'm one of you,” commented Mourinho on Chelsea TV today.
“In football, in my career I've had two great passions, Inter and Chelsea, and Chelsea is more than important for me.
“It was very, very hard to play against Chelsea and I did it only twice, which was not so bad.”
