Higuain fancies Llorente link-up

Gonzalo Higuain has fuelled rumours of a move to Juventus by saying “it would be wonderful” to partner Fernando Llorente in Turin.

The Real Madrid striker has announced he will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and, as the Italian giants have already signed Llorente as a free agent from Athletic Bilbao for next season, he was asked if he’d like to form a partnership with him.

“It would be wonderful. We’ll see what happens. There is absolutely no chance of me staying in Madrid. I have made my decision,” Higuain told Spanish media.

The Argentine is believed to top Juve’s list of strikers for next season after they were told that Fiorentina will only accept €30m cash for Montenegro international Stevan Jovetic.
