Fabio Cannavaro has advised his former club Juventus to pick up Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain this summer.
The Bianconeri are involved in talks with the player’s representatives over a possible transfer at the end of the season, but they are also linked with a move for Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic.
For former Juve and Madrid defender Cannavaro, the Argentine striker would be a worthwhile investment.
“Higuain is an extraordinary player,” the World Cup winner expressed to Goal.com.
“I played with him and he is the sort of player who could make the difference at Juventus.
“We hope he can come to Turin.
“If they want to get further [in the Champions League] they have to strengthen up front.”
