Bayern Munich have won the Champions League after defeating Borussia Dortmund in the final on Saturday evening.
Mario Mandzukic’s goal on the hour-mark gave the Bavarian side the lead, before Ilkay Gundogan’s penalty levelled the scoreline at 1-1.
However, a late striker from former Real Madrid man Arjen Robben gave Jupp Heynckes’ men a 2-1 win to secure their fifth European Cup.
It means Pep Guardiola will take charge of Bayern Munich next term as potential treble-winners, with the club preparing for the German Cup final next week against Stuttgart, following their Bundesliga and Champions League triumphs.
