However, Marca understand that the player is still intending to get clarification from Madrid that they do not want him.
It is believed that any meeting the club will have with Higuain to discuss his future will come only after a new Coach in place of Jose Mourinho has been found.
Higuain is valued by Madrid at €25m, with Juve said to be leading the way in negotiations.
