Atletico Madrid CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin has made his strongest hint yet that Radamel Falcao will leave the club at the end of the season.
The Colombian forward has been heavily linked with a move away from Vicente Calderon this summer, with Manchester City, Chelsea and Monaco all potential destinations.
And the board member has claimed that whatever decision the striker takes, they will support him.
“Before the start of the season we talked with Falcao and promised him that if he kept the same performance and helped us into the Champions League, we would help him,” he told reporters.
“Whatever decision he takes, we will be with him.
“We know what makes a good striker. I don't exactly who will be here next season, but you can be sure that Atletico will have a strong team.”
