A report in Spain has it that Lionel Messi missed a scheduled test with Barcelona club doctors today to look at his hamstring injury.
The Argentine was withdrawn from play midway through the second half of Sunday evening’s 2-1 win at Atletico Madrid with speculation that he had re-injured his right hamstring.
Struggling with the injury since the start of April, it was suggested that the 25-year-old could be ruled out of the final three games of the season.
The club confirmed that tests would be held on Monday to ascertain the damage done, but TV3 allege that those tests did not take place.
Today saw the players convene for a celebratory lunch before an open top bus parade in the afternoon through the city to celebrate winning the League title.
