Valencia have reportedly determined to enforce a buyback clause in Michel Herrero’s contract to take him back from Levante this summer.
Michel was sold to Los Granotes just last summer after loan spells at Deportivo and Hercules, but as per reports earlier in the season, has done enough at Ciutat de Valencia to earn a return to Mestalla.
Sporting director Braulio Vazquez is reportedly keen to have the 24-year-old midfielder in first team action for Los Che next season.
Valencia will apparently pay €420,000 by the middle of this month to activate a buyback clause in Michel’s contract, whilst his return to the club will reportedly also see him handed a significant pay rise on his Levante earnings.
