Tito Vilanova has reportedly focused his Barcelona players on taking a 2-0 lead by the break against Bayern Munich this Wednesday.
La Blaugrana must record a 4-0 win in the Champions League semi-final second leg to only draw level with the Bavarians, after last week’s heavy defeat in Germany.
However, Mundo Deportivo report that Vilanova is looking to focus his players by dividing the target up into stages, the first of which is to reach half-time with a 2-0 scoreline in favour.
The Coach reportedly sees ‘halving’ the task as psychologically easier for Barca’s players to approach.
Vilanova is also believed to have instructed his players this week to be prepared to shoot from distance to test out Manuel Neuer more so than they managed at the Allianz Arena, whilst the focus in defending against Bayern will be on maintaining possession.
