Lionel Messi’s recovery from a thigh injury continues to progress with the news that he has today rejoined his teammates in training.
Yesterday saw the 25-year-old step up his recovery from a thigh muscle injury picked up just over two weeks ago against Paris Saint-Germain by returning to the field for an individual workout.
Following on from that, the club confirm that Friday morning’s session at Citutat Esportiva saw the Argentine reintegrate with his teammates for part of the group workout.
Sergio Busquets, who has also been working separately this week with a groin injury, also rejoined the main group.
Messi is seen as likely to be fit for the first leg of Barcelona’s Champions League semi-final in Germany next Tuesday night.
