Italian football agent Matteo Materazzi says that Juventus are selling Arturo Vidal this summer so as to raise cash to buy Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez has been increasingly linked with a return to Italy in the coming summer, after two difficult seasons spent at Barca.
According to Materazzi, whose brother Marco is the former Inter and Italy defender, Juve are making moves to prepare to fund what earlier this week has rumoured to be a €24m deal.
“I believe he is going to Juventus, who seem to be about to sell Vidal just to raise that kind of money,” Materazzi told Napolicalciolive.com today.
“He’s the striker that Juve are missing, he would be perfect for Conte.
“That the Chilean [Vidal] is going is a less painful as in the squad already there is Pogba who is ready to become a regular starter.”
