Real Madrid will reportedly offer Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao a maximum wage of €6m a year, if they make a proposal in the summer.

Cadena Cope report that no clubs have yet to come in with a bid for the €60m-rated Colombian, who has otherwise been linked with Madrid, Chelsea and most recently Manchester United.

It is understood that alongside total salary budgets at clubs in England effectively being capped from next season, Madrid are also intent on saving in the wage department.

The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Ricky Kaka pull in over €10m a season at the Santiago Bernabeu, but from this summer they will reportedly set a maximum wage offer to potential arrivals at €6m.

Falcao is reportedly asking for €8m a season to leave the Vicente Calderon.
