Diego Simeone has insisted that his Atletico Madrid side are currently in a good run of form, contrary to belief.
The capital club have slipped into third place after holding off Real Madrid's resistance for so long.
But the Argentine Coach has claimed that his team are doing well, whilst also commenting on the future of Radamel Falcao.
“In the last seven games we have won three, drawn three and lost one,” he told a Press conference.
“I believe that that isn't so bad. Yes, we lost a game – but I think we can recover from that.
“We are proud of what we are doing. We are only three points behind Real Madrid, and they're in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
“The same thing happened last year [with Falcao] – it is nothing new.
“It is logical that a major player like him would attract the interest of some of the best teams in the world.”
