Real Zaragoza forward Rodri has claimed that his team deserved to beat Real Madrid at La Romareda on Saturday.
The 22-year-old scored a sixth minute goal to give the Blanquillos a 1-1 draw against Los Blancos yesterday.
And the striker has insisted that his side were worthy of an even more positive result.
“The team did a great job,” he told reporters. “We deserved the three points.
“But against a team like Madrid you have to be happy with a draw.
“I am also very happy for my goal.”
