Jose Mourinho has admitted that it will be difficult to drop goalkeeper Diego Lopez, as the shot-stopper ensured Real Madrid claimed a point on Saturday.
The 31-year-old made a series of fine saves to give Los Blancos a draw against Real Zaragoza yesterday evening.
And the Portuguese Coach has conceded that Iker Casillas may have to sit on the sidelines for a bit longer.
“I cannot say that a player will hold [on to a position] until the end of the season,” he told a Press conference.
“But I will say that again Diego Lopez has played a big game and helped the team get a result.
“In football, we have to try and be honest with yourself and with your players.
“Along that line, it will be hard for Diego to come out of goal.”
