Alexis Sanchez has reportedly played down speculation linking him with a move away from Barcelona, and determined his belief in his own ability.
The Chilean has struggled to assert himself during almost two seasons at Barca and has subsequently been linked with a return to Serie A this coming summer, with Inter and Juventus said to be on his trail.
However, the forward reportedly spoke to reporters in South America to hit back at criticism of his performance for Chile against Peru and to comment on his future.
“I’m very happy at Barcelona. I feel important for my club and for my country,” Alexis is quoted as saying today.
“I know what type of player I am, I know that I am a great player, I know that I can win games.
“I remain one of the best in the world even if I don’t score.”
