Zenit St Petersburg striker Hulk has left a wide open hint that his near future may be away from Russia and in Spain.

The striker only moved to Zenit at the end of the summer transfer window for a fee of €60m, but has struggled at the club since reportedly falling out with Coach Luciano Spalletti.

The 26-year-old suggested leaving in January, only for FIFA regulations to prevent this, and in talking to the Press this week, he has again hinted that his mindset come the summer may not have changed.

“My future? I love the Premier League and La Liga, I follow them on TV when I can,” Hulk told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“In England there are great teams and great games. And in Spain there is impressive quality with phenomena like Messi and Ronaldo.

“In Italy Milan and Inter have some great players, tradition and history. I watch them every now and then.

“Serie A is a great League – I have many friends at Inter like Guarin and Alvaro Pereira.”
