‘Avoid Barca and Madrid!’

Paolo Rossi is clear on the two teams that his former side Juventus need to steer clear of in the Champions League quarter-final draw today.

The Bianconeri are in the pot for the Nyon draw at 12pm CET, alongside the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Malaga, Galatasaray and Bayern Munich.

For the World Cup winner, it is the Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, though, that are causing concern.

“I think that Real Madrid and Barcelona are the teams to avoid for the Bianconeri,” Rossi made clear to Sky Sport Italia today.

“Real Madrid have a big squad and a lot of quality, while Barcelona showed against Milan that they are a team to be feared.

“I hear talk that Barca are on the slide, but you can’t forget that they have great players and a Lionel Messi who can always make the difference.”
