Real Zaragoza goalkeeper has revealed that the back injury he picked up two weeks ago is healing well.
The 27-year-old suffered a lumbar contortion that has seen him on the sidelines for the past couple of weeks.
But the shot-stopper has insisted that he could be back soon, but only wants to play if at 100 per cent fitness.
“I haven't been able to train for the past 14 days,” he told reporters. “And that obviously has an influence.
“To compete at this level you have to be in perfect condition – so I'll go day-by-day and see how the injury is.
“It was really bad for the first few days, but recently it's got a lot easier. I want to play, but if I have limited movement I won't be any help to the team.”
