Cristiano Ronaldo has briefly commented on his return to Old Trafford this week with Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The 28-year-old spent six years of his career playing for Manchester United and will now play competitively at Old Trafford for the first time since leaving The Red Devils in 2009.
Posting an image of himself on Instagram at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, where Madrid are basing their pre-game training sessions from, the Portuguese included a brief message in English.
“I'm looking forward to return to Old Trafford. I've so many good memories there. It will be an exciting game and our goal is to win,” wrote Ronaldo.
