Mallorca captain Jose Nunes has insisted that his team can avoid relegation come the end of the season.
The Islanders currently sit 19th in La Liga, six points off of Real Zaragoza who are just outside the drop zone.
But the Portuguese centre-back has claimed that there is confidence inside the dressing room that they can stay in the top-flight.
“You can't really make predictions at this stage,” he told a Press conference. “All we have to concentrate on is getting more points than three other teams.
“At the moment, everything looks bad for us. But if we win on Saturday [against Getafe], then it will all look different.
“If you ask me 'are the team confident that we can do this?' I'd say yes.
“We feel we deserve more points than we've got, but we have to keep going and work as hard as possible.”
