Barcelona are reportedly close to confirming plans for a preseason tour of Asia for the summer of 2013.
La Blaugrana, who restricted their preseason plans for 2012-13 to Europe after issues experienced with preparations further a field in 2011, are set to tour Thailand, China and Malaysia in a reported three-game tour.
Mundo Deportivo report that the club were set to take this tour to a region where they have an estimated 80m fans last summer, but for Euro 2012 and the change in Coach seeing a change in plans.
Barca, who have a friendly against former Coach Pep Guardiola’s new side Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on July 24 lined up, are understood to be set for games in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and one from Beijing and Shanghai in late July, early August.
The Catalans are also set for a further preseason date yet to be arranged, as part of their sponsorship deal signed with Qatar Sports Investment.
