Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes will miss tomorrow's match against Real Madrid with a knee injury.
The veteran playmaker trained this morning with the squad but has been left out of the group that travelled this afternoon to the Spanish capital.
The 39-year-old has not played since the club's 4-1 win over Fulham in the FA Cup, and as such, Sir Alex Ferguson has deemed him not fit to play a part at Santiago Bernabeu.
In better news for the Premier League club however, Ashley Young has recovered from his own knee knock and will be a part of the squad.
