Andres Iniesta believes that Pep Guardiola will have no issue in transferring the success he had at Barcelona to Bayern Munich.
Guardiola, who won a record 14 titles in four years at the Camp Nou, is set to take over at the Allianz Arena this summer, having agreed a three-year contract.
For Iniesta, he sees the German outfit as the ideal candidate to continue Guardiola’s run of success.
“The philosophy at Bayern is very similar to ours. They want much ball possession and the quality of their players is also very high,” he told Bild this week.
“It will not be difficult for him to succeed. He is going to be coaching a big club and with the intention of doing things well. I have no doubt that he will succeed.”
The midfielder was named Best Male Player of 2012 by Mundo Deportivo at their annual sporting awards last night.
“I hope that the level of my football and my way of doing things will continue to be liked by people.”
