Luis Garcia was delighted with his Getafe team as they beat Deportivo 3-1 despite having a man sent off inside the first 10 minutes.
Miguel Moya was dismissed for the Azulones, but a penalty from Diego Castro, and strikes from Alvaro Vazquez and Adrian Colunga – after a red card for Depor man Abel Aguilar – gave the home side the three points.
And the 40-year-old has conceded that his men had to work for the points.
“That game was very difficult for us,” he told a Press conference. “I do not know how we managed to get three goals, because we played 80 minutes with 10 men.
“It's a victory for the whole team. They've worked extremely hard and put in an enormous amount of work.”
