Varane: Press too hard on Mourinho

Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has claimed that the Spanish Press are 'too hard' on Coach Jose Mourinho.

The French centre-back has insisted that the Portuguese tactician is the best in the world, and also commented on the injury to Iker Casillas.

“We are all with the Coach,” he told a Press conference. “He is the best in the world. The Press are very hard on him, but he always does a good job.

“I don't think it's good for them to be so hard on Mourinho.

“When you lose a top player like Iker, it can destabilize the team,” he added. “But I don't think anything will change.

“I do not know a lot about [new signing] Diego Lopez, but what matters is whether he can help the team.”

The 19-year-old finally remarked on the rumoured falling out between a number of Los Blancos players.

“When the going gets tough, everyone has to be together. We have to stick together and improve.

“We are all going in the same direction.”
