Fernando Llorente has described his move to Juventus as ‘a dream fulfilled’, but also reaffirmed his commitment to Athletic Bilbao until June.
Reacting to the news via an official statement released on his website, the player took time to thank Athletic, who he has been with since his youth.
“Until 30th June 2013, Fernando Llorente continues to defend Athletic Club with professionalism, and, as always, he will give the best of himself,” read the posting on his site.
“Once again, Fernando Llorente would like to thank his club, Athletic Club, and the supporters, all those years where he has been trained like football player, and where he achieved great sporting success.
“Furthermore, the player recognises that he has fulfilled a dream with the signing by one of the best club in the world.
“And he shows his gratitude to Juventus for making things easy and for its interest to finalise this agreement.”
