Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has revealed that he is 'optimistic' about the possibility of Kaka rejoining the club.
Talks between the Real Madrid playmaker and the Italian club have been ongoing, with the option if a 24 month loan-deal being touted on Saturday.
And the Rossoneri chief has admitted that he is confident of the Brazilian's return to San Siro.
“I am optimistic,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “Kaka is a great player, a great man and always remains in the club's heart.
“I am confident because Madrid are talking openly with us.
“It would be a solution to our problem in midfield. I am sure he would fit straight back in at Milan.”
