Athletic Bilbao defender Jon Aurtenetxe has conceded that it is up to Marcelo Bielsa when he will return to the starting XI.
The 21-year-old has been out for nearly a month with an ankle injury, and has admitted that only the Coach can decide when he will next play for Los Leones.
“It is the Coach who decides,” he told reporters. “But I want to play again as soon as possible.
“Watching the matches in the stands makes me nervous because I can't do anything to alter the result.”
The Spain Under-21 international has commented on the club's poor start to the season, and revealed that everyone is aiming for a better second half to the campaign.
“Football is a game that takes many twists and turns,” he said. “We are prepared for whatever comes our way.
“We know we haven't performed well, but we must look forward.”
