Saviola can’t wait to face Barca

Malaga striker Javier Saviola has conceded that he is looking forward to playing Barcelona this Sunday.

The Argentine striker will play against his former club at La Rosaleda, and has claimed that it will be a special occasion for him, even if it will be tough his side to get the three points.

“I am personally really looking forward to playing Barcelona,” he told AS. “I've been through the club and they treated me very well when I was there.

“I still keep in touch with many people at Barca, so it will be nice to see them again.

“They are a special team,” he added. “Their power, their technique, the way they play. But we cannot play them just hoping to get a point.

“We will play to win and must be confident we can beat Barcelona.

“Of course, we will have to play a perfect game and commit fewer errors than they do. We have to believe though, that we can do it.”

The 31-year-old concluded by commenting on Lionel Messi and his fourth Ballon d'Or triumph.

“I have run out of adjectives for a player like him. Just incredible.”
