Mallorca boss Joaquin Caparros has admitted that he is not focusing on cup glory as his team face Sevilla tomorrow in the last 16.
The Bermellones are 5-0 down in the tie after losing in the first leg, and the 57-year-old has conceded that he will not prioritise the Copa del Rey.
“We are aware that the cup is a great competition, but at the moment there are other priorities that we have to focus on,” he told a Press conference.
“We have to play this game, but we will not threaten our League status.
“I hope that there are no mishaps in relation to injuries because that would annoy me very much.
“The Copa del Rey has given me moments of great satisfaction in my career, but now we have other things that are more important.”
