Luis Garcia: It was a strange game

Luis Garcia has claimed that his Getafe side could have got 'any result' against Valencia yesterday, despite losing 4-2.

Alvaro Vazquez and Alexis Ruano scored for the Azulones, but three first half strikes and one late on from Nelson Valdez gave Los Che the three points at Mestalla.

The 40-year-old Coach however admitted it was an 'entertaining' encounter.

“We have seen a very strange game here,” he told a Press conference. “But it was entertaining for the viewers.

“The match was dictated by the two goals we conceded inside the first seven minutes.

“But after that we showed tremendous professionalism and tried to get back in the game – it looked for a while like we could even get a draw.

“In truth though, it could have been any score – 6-4, 4-6, 6-0. Every time someone scored, the other team could have got up the other end and got one themselves.”
