Getafe President Angel Torres has given Coach Luis Garcia a vote of confidence after some fans were heard jeering the tactician at the weekend.
The Azulones drew 1-1 with Osasuna on Saturday, and despite their current seventh place sitting in La Liga, a group of supporters were calling for the boss's head.
But the club's owner has come out fighting today, defending that man in the dugout.
“Let me be clear,” he told a Press conference. “Luis is not only going to be here this year, but next year and hopefully for many more years to come.
“This page should be closed and I hope the fans change their attitude.
“Luis is doing well. Nothing more is required from him. If the fans want to whistle, then whistle at me.
“I am responsible for Luis being here, and all the players for that matter.
“I am happy and Luis has a contract that runs until next year. He will continue whether the fans like it or not.”
