Dortmund want Sahin back

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly weighing up a possible move to buy back Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin.

The Turkish international is currently out on a season long loan deal at Liverpool, in a bid to regain his match fitness after a disruptive debut season spent at the Santiago Bernabeu saw the midfielder laden with injury.

Liverpool do not have an automatic option to make the move permanent, with the initial reported hope of Madrid’s being that the player return to them for 2013-14 onwards.

However, his indifferent form so far displayed at Anfield has reportedly opened the capital club’s mind to a possible sale next summer.

Former employers Dortmund, who sold Sahin to Madrid in 2011, are said to be keen to discuss a deal to re-sign the 24-year-old. The midfielder currently has a contract with Los Blancos until June 2017.
