Getafe boss Luis Garcia thought his side deserved to beat Malaga at Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
Alberto Lopo scored a second half goal to give the Azulones a 1-0 win, and the 40-year-old claimed that his team were the better, disagreeing with what Manuel Pellegrini had said.
“It was a balanced game – we deserved to win or draw,” he told a Press conference. “We had clear chances to win the game by a clearer margin, but failed with our last touch.
“It was hard to beat Malaga today, but I have to disagree with Pelegrini – It is his opinion.
“He is a great Coach and what he thinks is fine, but we had our chances to finish the game off and get a second goal.”
