Roberto: Copa is not important

Granada goalkeeper Roberto has admitted that the Copa del Rey is of no importance to the club, ahead of their match with Real Zaragoza.

The 33-year-old shot-stopper has conceded that El Grana will not be taking the game with Manolo Jimenez's side seriously, but did say that he will do his utmost to keep a clean sheet.

“I'd be lying if I said that the Cup was important,” he told a Press conference. “La Liga is clearly more important for us, but we have to concentrate, for now, on the Cup.

“For mid-table teams and below, it is a competition to not take too seriously – but I expect us to turn up for the match.

“We have to stay focused on the match and be ready to play a good game.

“We haven't had a clean sheet in a long time, so it would be nice to get one.”
