Trio offering Falcao €10m

Chelsea, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are all reportedly prepared to pay Radamel Falcao €10m a season, whilst Roberto Di Matteo comments.

The Colombian striker has been constantly linked with a move away from Atletico Madrid since the end of last season and this morning sees the latest chapter.

AS are running the line that Chelsea, City and PSG are all offering a basic starting salary around the €10m-a-season mark for the 26-year-old.

This represents a figure that would reportedly almost treble his current earnings at Atletico.

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Di Matteo has ensured that his side’s name will remain in the frame, despite their already listing former Atleti striker Fernando Torres in attack.

“If you ask any manager, he would have him in his team,” commented the Italian to the British Press on Friday evening.

“He is one of the best strikers, probably, in European and world football. His ratio of goals per game is quite impressive, not just this season but over the last three seasons, at Porto and Atletico Madrid.”
