Rivaldo has confirmed his decision to leave Angolan outfit Kabuscorp, but has given no hint as to whether or not he intends to continue playing.
Aged 40, the former Deportivo and Barcelona forward has reached the end of his contract with Kabuscorp and confirmed via his Twitter account that he was leaving after a year at the club.
“It is the day to say goodbye to Angola, but only for football, because it will be a home for good,” he posted.
“It has been a positive year in my career and although we were fourth in the League, I was the third top scorer.”
The player has twice recently been rumoured to be on the verge of retiring from the game, first after a fallout with his Coach and then after suffering an injury towards the end of this last season.
