Jordi Alba has praised Celta Vigo after their spirited, but ultimately unsuccessful, performance at Camp Nou.
Paco Herrera's men went down 3-1 to the Blaugrana on Saturday evening, but the Spain international, who scored in the second half, has congratulated them for their efforts.
“It was an important win for us,” he told reporters after the game. “I am extremely happy with my goal.
“Celta were dangerous in the first half, especially on the counter-attack, but I think in the second half we controlled the game a lot better.”
