And with much soul-searching and diagnosis of the departure going on the Spanish Press, the Barcelona defender was in no mood for pleasantries when he came into the mixed zone last night.
“Next time I am going to cut your head off,” he said to a journalist from the newspaper AS.
Alba and the rest of the Roja squad will now travel back home, before starting pre-season with their clubs in mid-July.
