Guardado sees positive Valencia

Andres Guardado believes that the mood at Valencia has completely lifted thanks to consecutive wins in the League and Champions League.

Los Che followed up three points in La Liga on Saturday against Athletic Bilbao with a convincing 3-0 win away to BATE in Europe.

“It has changed the mood, the positivity is around the place, whilst we have belief that we are good,” winger Guardado told reporters today.

“We are just beginning the job we have intended, though, what we have done in recent games is what we have wanted to do.

“The team is going from low to high, in a line of ascent and it is what we intend to continue. We should follow it because we want to go all the way in all competitions.

“We played a very complete game in midweek, although we are demanding of ourselves and we still want to get better and better. Our improvement must be shown every weekend,” the Mexican warned.

“The League is very long and we have yet to progress to the Champions League knockout phase. We will need additional effort.

“At the moment it is a different mood at the club, we are working with the results from the past two games. The Coach is the one that is demanding that we maintain this, because we are yet to achieve anything.”
