JIM voted top Primera boss

Levante boss Juan Ignacio Martinez has received the Ramon Cobo prize for best boss in La Primera during the 2011-12 season.

The award is issued by the Coaching Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and will be presented at the Las Rozas Football City in Madrid on Monday, October 22.

The Ramon Cobo award recognises the work done by the best coaches in La Primera, La Segunda, Segunda B and the first and second divisions in Futbol Sala [five-a-side], and the ceremony will be chaired by RFEF President Angel Maria Villar with national team boss Vicente del Bosque in attendance.

Martinez, known by the nickname JIM after the initial letters of his name, replaced Luis Garcia in the dugout at the Ciutat de Valencia before the start of last season and led Levante to a historic Europa League spot.
