Athletic Bilbao defender Jon Aurtenetxe has decried the recent dressing room leaks at the club, saying they help nobody.
The Basque outfit's difficult opening to the season has been compounded by off-field issues, the latest incident seeing a secret recording of a talk Marcelo Bielsa gave to his players released.
“It does not benefit anybody,” stated the 20-year-old leftback at a press conference. “These things should stay in the locker room, hopefully it does not happen again.
“When I arrived this morning I was told there was another eight minute recording, but I haven't heard it and I don't know who did it.”
Aurtenetxe is aiming to return from injury soon.
“I'm doing preventive work, which will hopefully serve me not to relapse, and to see if I can return to playing as many minutes as last year without hassle.”
