Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has praised the behaviour of the players who took part in Sunday’s 2-2 Clasico draw at the Camp Nou.
Del Bosque emphasised that many stars from both Barcelona and Real Madrid represent Spain and he congratulated each and every one of them for the example they had set young people.
“Not that long ago some behaviour left a lot to be desired but on Sunday the players were fantastic and that must not be forgotten,” said the 61-year-old, who was collecting the TELVA Prize in Valencia for Arts, Science and Sport, awarded to him for Spain's Euro 2012 success in the summer.
“These are the values that are transmitted to young people. The fact they set an example was great", he added.
