Caparros confident of improvement

Joaquin Caparros has claimed that his Mallorca side will come back fighting after their 2-1 loss to Granada on Sunday.

A Tomer Hemed goal was not enough to inspire a comeback for Los Bermellones, but the 56-year-old tactician has assured fans that the team will improve their fortunes soon.

“The next month is going to be tough,” he told a press conference. “But I am sure that we will come out and show people what we are made of.

“In the second half we did not play with enough intensity, and were always susceptible to counter-attacks.

“It's been a really bad week, but we have to be optimistic.”
