Valencia defender Ricardo Costa could miss the club's forthcoming games against Real Zaraoza and Lille.
The Portuguese centre-back has suffered a hamstring injury, and although club doctors will perform tests to discover the full extent of the damage, it seems certain he will sit out Saturday's meeting with Zaragoza at Mestalla.
It's his potential absence from next Tuesday's Champions League clash with Lille that will really give Coach Mauricio Pellegrino a headache however, as he is already missing Costa's fellow centre-back Adil Rami. The Frenchman is suspended after his red card in the 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich.
