Getafe boss Luis Garcia hailed Lionel Messi the best player in the world after seeing his side mauled 4-1 by Barcelona.
Messi came on as a second-half substitute and scored two goals for the Catalans, a move Garcia felt changed the course of the game.
“Messi changed everything because he is the best in the world,” conceded Garcia.
“The second goal decided the match but it was a fair result and we can’t have any complaints,” he told reporters.
“We made more chances than we did against them last year but so did they, although it was a shame their goal came when it did after we had a clear opportunity to score.
“I’m never satisfied when we lose but if we are talking about the opening four games then I think we are doing okay,” he added.
