Marca allege that Barcelona’s Lionel Messi is currently playing through the pain barrier, for struggling with a hamstring injury.
According the Spanish daily, the Argentine has had the injury since the beginning of the season and has so far not played a game without it causing him pain.
The striker is still travelling out to Argentina for their World Cup qualifiers this week, but did receive specific treatment from the Barca physiotherapist before leaving.
Barcelona reportedly consider the issue a nuisance to the player, rather than a serious injury at this stage.
