Argentine midfielder Franco Vazquez has joined Rayo Vallecano from Palermo on a year-long loan deal today.
The 23-year-old was linked with the Madrid minnows earlier this month and today has seen a 12-month temporary deal between the Rosanero and Franjirrojos agreed, as confirmed on Palermo’s website.
Attacking midfielder Vazquez signed for the Italian side only last year, and has only been eligible for selection since January 1.
Struggling with competition for places in Sicily, the left-sided, tall footballer, who is nicknamed El Mudo – The Mute – will now be presented to the Spanish Press as a Rayo player on Wednesday.
